Beauty and The Beast 3D Review

There are great movies, there are amazing movies and then there are movies which are classic. Disney's Beauty and the Beast is a classic movie, it always will be. Now you have the chance to see this classic in 3D!

There is a quote from this movie, which I believe should be a word of advice for movies that go beyond reason. This is a scene with Belle and Gaston.
While Belle is reading her book, Gaston asks "How can you read this? There's no pictures!" without wondering she replies back with this answer "Well, some people use their imagination". Now you may wonder what I am mean by using that quote, it's simple there are some movies which make you use your imagination and there are some which just don't. I have always liked the fact that Disney has always been on the good side of this, by always letting their viewers use their imagination.

It makes me think of a quote which Walt Disney himself said about Disneyland, "Disneyland will never be completed. It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world". He was and still is right, because everything is possible with just a little imagination to bring the idea to life. Don't forget, imagination isn't just for kids, it is for the kids at heart as well.

If you asked me to find one word that would fit for this movie, I would have to go with AMAZING. It is beautifully done both in the art of animation and the art of writing as well as the work of the spectacular cast, true greatness. Everytime I see this movie, I watch from start to end like I am watching it for the first time. Why? Because it just pulls you into the story and you forget that you have seen it before. It is a lot like the Disney theme parks, every time you go to the park it is a whole new adventure.

Now on to the 3D, simply breathtaking details come flying out as if you were in the movie itself. Great job John Lasseter and the rest of the crew! I don't want to go into many details of the 3D effects, because I think you should find out as you watch. You never know what might jump off the screen.

The spectacular cast was lead by Paige O'Hara and Robby Benson as Belle and Beast, how did they keep track of time? With the help of the ever loyal Cogsworth who was voiced by David Ogden Stiers (M*A*S*H). Cogsworth didn't have a easy time keeping control of events due to a very friendly and musical candle stick named Lumiere, he was voiced by the late Jerry Orbach (Dirty Dancing). Don't forget to have a spot of tea fom Mrs. Potts and Chip! Voiced by the wonderful Angela Landsbury and Bradley Pierce.

This is a movie for all ages, even if you have seen before you need to go see it again and don't forget you have never seen it like this in RealD 3D!

This movie is 5 stars!
