Titanic 3D Review

I am going to start off with the end of the movie... (WARNING: I AM GOING TO TELL YOU A BIG PART OF THE TITANIC STORY........ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THEN LOOK AWAY....... STILL LOOKING? OKAY THEN YOU ARE GOING TO SEE THIS... IT IS GOING TO BE A BIG THING THAT ISN'T KNOWN... HERE IT IS) THE BOAT SINKS!!!!! FOR MORE INFOMATION ON THE FULL DETAILS OF THAT DAY, PLEASE READ A HISTORY BOOK.

Now if you are still reading and aren't mad at me for telling you so much that no one knew, thank you! (Just a note: Yes Titanic is the name of the film and the base of it, but it is NOT the point of the story.) I have read where people have said it is just some film about the ship that hit the iceberg, the thing is this isn't 100% true. It is a film about love, life, and making the most of it. This movie is one of MOST FANTASIC films of all time, a true classic. It is hard to leave this movie without a tear in your eye.

The 3D was great, I give 5 stars to James Cameron for spending so much money and so much time on turning this film into a 3D hit. I never know going into a movie that is remade into 3D, I worry about how it will work. I am glad to say this was EPIC in the case of 2D turned 3D movies. You can't turn away from the screen for one second watching this film, I felt the whole time like I was on ship with the passengers. You could tell in some of the live action that it wasn't filmed in 3D, but at the same time it really worked well for the moving around the ship scenes as well as under the water. So for what they could do with making it 3D from 2D, I think it was a 3D hit.

Jack Dawson, and Rose DeWitt Bukater are played by Leonardo DiCaprio, and Kate Winslet. The power they both bring to the screen and the way they work together is part of what makes this film the forever classic that it is. History speaks of a Titanic passenger who was called the "Unsinkable Molly Brown" aka Molly Brown, she was strong and strong willed. They had to make sure they got someone who would play the role just right, someone that was also strong and strong willed. They went with the perfect choice, Kathy Bates.

On the ship with Rose was her fiancé, Caledon 'Cal' Hockley, and Rose's mother Ruth Dewitt Bukater. These two were played by Billy Zane, and Frances Fisher. They bring so much acting power to the movie. No ship could go anywhere without it's great Captain, aka Captain Edward James Smith, played by Bernard Hill. The whole cast was fantastic.

Now there is one more cast member that I would like to talk about, this person played older Rose in the movie. Her name is Gloria Stuart, she was the glue that makes the movie stick and her voice keeps you into the story the whole time. Sadly, on September 26th, 2010 at the age of 100, she passed away. Rest in Peace Gloria Stuart.

The one thing I was suprised and unhappy about with this movie was the fact that they didn't add anything about Gloria, before or after the credits. She was a main part of the cast and a great person and actress. There should have been at least a small 3 second part before the credits that just said her name and dates with a picture. It wouldn't have been that hard.

Over all the movie was AMAZING!
