The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Review

(ALL PHOTOS COPYRIGHT: LIONSGATE PICTURES)

Jennifer Lawrence returns as Katniss Everdeen 'The Girl On Fire' in the next chapter of the fan favorite movie series "The Hunger Games" with "Hunger Games: Catching Fire".

The way that Jennifer is straight forward and strong which shows on the big screen is what makes her amazing as Katniss.

So after a epic movie like 'Hunger Games', how can you follow it?

Well first, you need to bring back everyone's favorite cast members from the first film. Then you add more people that you can like and dislike in the film. Following that you must have a strong story which will keep those watching at the edge of their seat. Last, you must call the film 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire'. That is just what the new Director Francis Lawrence did.

I can't wait to see what Director Lawrence does with the 2-part 'Mocking Jay' story.

Now with every great Director there is a great cast and we have already talked partly about Miss. Lawrence, now let's talk about her co-stars.

The fact that Josh is and can play such a clam and caring person is why he is fantastic as Peeta.

One of the best parts of these films are the scenes with Jennifer and Josh, be funny or serious they are always work well together which makes the scenes perfect. Now speaking of working well together, we must not forget their friends and guides Effie and Haymitch.

Everyone knows his name, the one and only Woody Harrelson plays the former Hunger Games champion Haymitch Abernathy. Now he may drink a few (or more) glasses (or bottles) at a time but that doesn't mean he isn't kind at heart, he and Effie both care about two people, Katniss and Peeta. Woody's comedy and one liners are what really brings edgy but caring Haymitch to life.

Let's talk about Elizabeth Banks who plays the sweet and always excited Effie Trinket! Now she is happy a lot more then Haymitch acts, which is funny when they play off each other.

Stanley Tucci plays the excited and wonderful Hunger Games host Caesar Flickerman. Stanley is one of my favorite actors, he is such a class act. He brings so much talent and joy to the big screen.

Liam Hemsworth plays Katniss' long time best friend, Gale Hawthorne. A lot like his brother Chris Hemsworth aka Thor, Liam plays a very strong character. Now as tough as he can be, just like Peeta, he has one person who makes him smile aka Katniss. He isn't it the film as much as Jennifer and Josh but he is a very big part of the story.

Now after talking about the wonderful people, let's talk about the one man that pretty much everyone dislikes, President Snow. Now this evil character couldn't be this bad without a great actor playing him that actor would be Donald Sutherland. The piece that I believe makes him the perfect person to play President Snow is his voice. The tone of his voice as he talks really makes you feel the power of his job as the Capitol President.

The special effects and design of this film is as always epic! You will really see the special effect at full power during the games scenes.

Make your way to the theater today to see "THE GIRL ON FIRE" in the box office hit "Hunger Games: Catching Fire".
