TAKEN 2 REVIEW

Liam Neeson is back for action and he won't back down. Neeson returns as Bryan Mills the former CIA agent. He isn't alone as his ex-wife Lenore and their daughter Kim are back as well. Both are played by returning stars Maggie Grace and Famke Janssen.

First thing I was happy to see in this film is that they gave Maggie Grace some action scenes! She is really good at acting and I think they were right by giving her more to go on in this film. Maggie and Liam really play off eachother well as Father and Daughter in both the good and bad moments.

Jean Gray.... Oops I mean Famke Janssen (X-Men joke) did a great job returning to the big screen as Lenore. She didn't get action scenes like Maggie but she did great bringing more to the story of the film. Here is a fun fact about her. She was in GoldenEye with Pierce Brosnan. Don't forget to check "Skyfall" this november with Bond.. James Bond.

Now many reviews have said it is the same story as the first... The truth to that is.... NOTHING. It is related and you need to see the first movie before seeing "Taken 2"! Yes the base story sounds like the first one but it plays out like a totally new movie story. They used a lot of new camera effects for this film.

This movie is action packed and is an awesome theater movie! The fighting scenes are filmed so great, that you think you are standing there with them.

So over all I would say to go see this film! Try to make sure to watch "Taken" first!! It makes more sense that way.
