3 Days To Kill: Review

Kevin Costner returns to the big screen in the brand new James Bond meets Jack Ryan film “3 Days To Kill”.

Now yes, this film is a mix Bond and Jack Ryan, how? Well, you have the Agent who has been doing this for years, who just can't get out of the job (Bond). Then you also have him thrown into a mission without notice (Jack Ryan). The first time I saw a trailer for this film was when I went to see Kevin Costner and Chris Pine in 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit', I have to admit seeing that first trailer made me fear it was going to be too much like his role in 'Shadow Recruit'. I am glad to say this time, I was wrong. This movie stands on it's own feet, because it isn't just an action film.

It is true, this film isn't only an action movie. It is a story about a spy on two missions, one for his career and one for his life and family. What I like about this film is a big part of the story is all about Ethan (Costner) and his daughter Zoey (Hailee Steinfeld) and their time trying to reconnect after he has been gone with the CIA for years. You want to know how this film is able to keep a good mix of spy and everyday guy? Because their Director McG is from the hit NBC show 'Chuck', which is the perfect mix of spy life meets everyday life. (Note: PLEASE BRING CHUCK BACK).

This is one of my shorter reviews, but the point is go see it. It is well worth the time. For all of you looking for a good date movie... This is a good choice for that too.
