And The New Wonder Woman is....

In 2013, we met the Man of Steel on the big screen with the face of Henry Cavill. Following the blockbuster hit, we found that in the next Superman film, we will be meeting Batman who will be played by Ben Affleck.

Today, we found out that we will be meeting a third hero. For the first time on the big screen, we will see Wonder Woman. Who will be playing the Amazon Princess?

The wonderful Gal Gadot from the 'Fast and Furious' movie series.

This is what Director Zack Snyder had to say about the newest member of the superhero cast.

Snyder stated, “Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character.”

Now here is what we know so far about Gal Gadot.

- In 2004, she was crowned Miss Israel. As Miss Israel, she went to the Miss Universe Pageant.

- Her big screen debut was the 2009 'Fast & Furious' film.

With her background with car films, I wonder if we will be seeing Wonder Man using Batman's wheels.

Sounds like a great line up for the upcoming Batman and Superman film.
