Need for Speed Review

EA Games comes racing onto the big screen with the new film “Need for Speed” starring Aaron Paul.

When I first heard about this film and how it is about street racing, fast cars, dealing with issues on and off the track, the first thing that came to mind was “Oh great, they are trying to make a run on the idea of the Fast and the Furious series” but I am glad to say it is it's own story 100%. Yes you will see pieces that look like the 'Fast' series but that is only because they are both about racing.

My favorite part of this film is the special effects, which were all done on set with 100% no CG. I am a huge fan of CG, but I feel that this story works better with on scene effects. Such as the camera set up in the picture below of the film's Mustang. No green screen, just a really large, really awesome camera set up on the car. As a guy who loves the movie tech, it would have been amazing to see the gear that they used for this film.

I have always enjoyed the Need for Speed video games, because of the racing and because of the cars. The cars are a main reason that I like this film. Who wouldn't want to see these cars on the big screen?

That is only some of them. 

Over all this film gets 5 stars. Make sure you drive right to your local theater and check out this fast lane film "Need for Speed".
