Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Review

The four green brothers return to the big screen in the all new take on their story in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Producer Michael Bay.

I am going to throw it out there right now, I am shocked that this movie had pretty much no big fire blast scenes in it.. Are we sure Michael Bay was a part of this film? I am a big fan of him and always love watching his films such as Transformers, it just seems that he likes to use special effects to make everything on screen blow up.

Megan Fox steps into the role of April O'Neil, the news reporter who is the first person to really meet the four brothers and their master Splinter. I have to say this was a much better role for Megan then her role in Transformers.

That is Will Arnett in the picture next to Megan Fox, but who is he playing? Is he Casey Jones? No, Will Arnett is playing a character who has never been seen in a live action film before, he is playing Vernon Fenwick from the Original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon. These two work great together and work perfect with the turtles. It take a lot of skill to line up your lines and movements with the CGI characters.

Speaking of CGI and special effects, thumbs up to the team who put together the look for these four turtles. Their movements are so life like.

So this is the new look for the classic villain the Shredder! His story is a mystery which you will have to see the film to get clues to, but will they all be answered in this film?

As awesome as this movie really is, there are pieces that you will feel like you are watching The Amazing Spider-Man. That isn't a totally bad thing, just kind of funny.

They are already talking about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Here's what we know so far for who is coming (possibly).
-Bebop and Rocksteady
-Casey Jones
and wait for it..
-KRANG!
Now this is just what we are picking up from interviews seen with the writers, etc, so nothing confirmed yet.

Here is my question, will Baxter Stockman join the film or have we already met him in a way?

Are you looking for a laugh out loud film with fantastic action and a great story? Then go see Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
