Ice Age: Continental Drift Review.

In 2002 we first met Many, Sid, and Diego, in Ice Age. In 2006 we met Ellie, Crash, and Eddie, in Ice Age: The Meltdown. In 2009, we met them all in Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Now in 2012 we meet the gang again and Ellie and Many's teenage daughter Peaches. In Ice Age: Continental Drift, we see what is known to the gang as the end of the world.

Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Queen Latifah, return as Many, Sid, Diego, and Ellie. (Yes in that order). This time the group deals with what they think is their world really coming to an end. As the ground moves and the ice breaks, Many, Sid, and Diego, must make their way back to Ellie, Peaches, and the rest of the group.

But the task could not be so easy, as they must face pirates and sea creatures. The thing is will the power of love beat the evil of those who stand in their way on the path back hom? Only time will tell.

You will feel like you are going on this journey with them, thanks to the work of 20th Century Fox as well as the cast and crew. Special effects were fantastic! The details were outstanding and gave the feeling of real life wild life. But a movie without a vocal cast is a movie without words (which also can be good! aka the Oscar winning movie The Artist), but this movie was made for words.

As I said everyone returned for this film, but there are also new voices joining the group. Jennifer Lopez voices Shira, Captain Gutt's first mate. Speaking of the Captain, his voice was done by Peter Dinklage. Who is known for many roles including his role in Elf. Keke Palmer plays Peaches, the daughter of Many and Ellie. All around the cast was amazing!

So go see it and take family, friends, anyone you want because everyone will love this movie! It is a great story and a great cast in a FANTASTIC movie!!
