Finding Nemo 3D Review

Nemo returns to theaters in the 3D release of Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo. The question is should you go see it again, if you saw the first time?

Disney's plan next to bringing out all new movies is bringing out old movie with new 3D effects. They did this with Beauty and The Beast, as well as Lion King. They worked with Pixar to bring Toy Story and Toy Story 2 to 3D for getting fans ready for done in 3D movie Toy Story 3. Now under water movies always make some of the best 3D movies, because of the effects of the sea and the fish. So the best chance for making a great 3D movie is making all about fish.

The scene with Crush in the EAC is one of the best scenes for the 3D effect. It really shows when Marlin first looks behind Crush at the rest of the Turtles. Another great scene for it was when Nemo and the gang looked outside of the tank and the camera made it look like you were one of the fish.

The cast was fantastic as always! Ellen DeGeneres and Albert Brooks played Dory and Marlin on their seach to find Nemo. They made a amazing pair and worked well off of eachother, full of laughs. Willem Defoe played Gill, along side Brad Garrett who played Bloat. Defoe played the fish who took watch of Nemo when he was in the Tank and helped him work on a way home. The whole cast was great!

So go see it! It is 100% worth your time. I think out of the remade to 3D Pixar movies so far, this is the best. My favorite Disney remade to 3D scene has to be the ballroom dance scene from Beauty and the Beast.

Here is a note to my Marvel/Avengers readers! The voice behind the shark named Anchor is none other then the face of Bruce Banner from the 2003 film "The Hulk" aka Eric Bana. A "Hulk Shark" would be a very bad thing to get angry. You wouldn't like a Hulk Shark when its angry. Don't forget that Willem Defoe is also a Marvel movie star from when he played Norman Osborn in the Spider-Man movie series.

John Ratzenberger plays fish school in this movie. Can you tell me all his other Pixar roles?

The Amazing Spider-Man MiniMates by Diamond Select Toys Review

Wish you could replay scenes from "The Amazing Spider-Man"? Well you can! With the Amazing Spider-Man line of MiniMates by Diamond Select Toys.

I went to Toys R Us and got the set of Battle Damaged Spider-Man and Lizard. There is also a sweet Marvel poster inside the box. The other figures in the Minimate Amazing Spider-Man series are Vigilante Spider-Man, Spider-Man, Peter Parker, Captain Stacy, Dr. Connors, Gwen Stacy. Now let's talk about the figures of this set.

Battle Damaged Spider-Man has the full detail of his suit including the detail of small tears and marks from his fight with Lizard, don't forget his web shooters on both arms. Now what about the man behind the mask? The Spider-Man lifts off and reveals Peter's face, his backpack and hair finish off the look. His arms move around so you can make him look like he is fighting and swinging around town trying to stop Lizard.

Now on to the darker side of Dr. Connors, aka the Lizard! What does a big green dino looking lizard man look like as a MiniMate? He looks AWESOME! Unlike Spidey in this set, Lizard is one peice other then his tail.

The set comes with one base stand, so you can switch who you are moving and who you want standing still. I can't wait to find more of this series and the rest of the MiniMates. Don't forget to check out Toys R Us for those that are only for sale at their stores.

Make sure to check out The Amazing Spider-Man when it comes to Blu-Ray and DVD (Date: TBA)

The Amazing Spider-Man Review

Spider-Man came swinging into theaters today with the debut of "The Amazing Spider-Man", the question is... Is Spider-Man Truly "Amazing"?

In 2002 met Peter Parker who was played by Toby Maguire. We followed this Peter to the final movie Spider-Man 3 in 2007. Today in 2012 we met Peter Parker again, this time played by Andrew Garfield. I will always be a fan of Toby in the first set of Spider-Man movies, but I truly believe that Andrew is by far the best Peter/Spider-Man.

Andrew Garfield really swings into action in this role. He brings you into the movie and you feel happy and sad in all the scenes, as if you were standing along side him. I like how they show more of Peter's reaction time to his new powers, it really gives you more insight to the story's detail. I think we will be seeing many more movies with Andrew as Peter Parker, maybe even a new Avenger? He could hold his own with the Avengers and would be a "Amazing" add to a great team. (You know I had to use AMAZING to talk about Spider-Man.) The main thing I really really like about him playing Spider-Man, is the fact that he brings both the drama and comedy from both the comics and cartoons in the Spider-Man world to the movie.

Marc Webb did a fantastic job bringing the web shooting hero to life in the new film. There are a few things I found done better in this film then in the first Spider-Man series. One of those things is the story of Uncle Ben. I think Marc's movie told a better story of the man known as Uncle Ben, it makes you feel more for scenes where Ben, comes to meet Spider-Man history. Martin Sheen, does a great job as Uncle Ben. The main reason for that is because he can be funny in scenes as well as being a serious guardian figure in Peter's life.

Anyone ever watch the movie The Replacements? You know that movie about the football team starring Keanu Reeves. You have? So you remember the player named Nigel, played by Rhys Ifans. Well Mr. Ifans is back on the big screen again playing the friendly Doctor Connors as well as the not so friendly villian The Lizard. The way he can switch from calm to crazy in two seconds is one of the main reasons he is the best choice for this role. I kind of hope that we meet Doc Connors again in the future.

Emma Stone plays the smart and brave Gwen Stacy. It takes a strong actress to play the girl who has to deal with both Peter, aka the web swinging hero, and her father, aka the police captain. With a life with two guys who are well known around the city, she has to be able to stand on her own. She is strong and able to do that. Here is a question for my viewers, what would you like to see in the next movie with the story of Gwen?

This is the first time that Spider-Man has been in RealD 3D and it was EPIC! There are scenes which make it seem that you are Spider-Man as you see the view from his eyes jumping and swinging roof top to roof top. Everything jumps off the screen. I believe every movie in this series should be in 3D!

This movie gets 5 out of 5 stars, because Spider-Man is truly AMAZING!

So now on to my viewers again, comment and let me know your answer to this next question. Who do you want to see Spider-Man fight next? Also which hero do you think should make a cameo in this series?
