Avengers: ENDGAME

Wow!  I going to just start right off by saying it.  Avengers: ENDGAME is AMAZING!!  There is no doubt that our Founder, Jeremy, would be saying that...A LOT!

Over the past 11 years, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has taken us on a journey that started in a cave, and took us to space to see the Avengers take on a certain mad titan.  The Russo Brothers take 21 movies, multiple plots and story arcs, and blend them together into a brilliant film.

It has some of everything that makes fans love the MCU.  Humor, action, and heart are all key components in the story, especially heart.  As it plays out, your emotions will be all over the place.  This is very possibly the best written script in the MCU so far.

The great script and direction is made even better by the acting.  The reason the MCU works so well is because you care about the characters.  Some have been building for the better part of 11 years.  Others have only turned up recently, but were connected to existing stories in a way that made them relevant early on.  Other studios try to do their own versions of these stories but don't give a foundation that makes you really care what happens.  Do yourself a favor and don't look at cast listings prior to seeing the movie, it will spoil a lot.

Marvel has always been big on Easter Eggs, and this movie looks like the Easter Bunny spent a lot of time there.  Still, they all fit in like they are meant to be there.  Connecting 21 movies into the same sequel is no easy task, and they have done it.  Even something as simple as a shot of a character eating Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream that was mentioned in Avengers: Infinity War adds to the continuity.  Also makes me hopeful that the flavors might become a thing.

It's hard to say much more about the movie without getting too close to spoilers.  It is an AMAZING movie.  I wish I could just tell you what I thought about every part, but this is a SPOILER-FREE zone.  Please comment below and let us know what you thought of the movie, or my review.  Just remember, Dr. Strange saw what happened over 14 million times and didn’t tell anyone.  Please be as cool as him.

Upper Deck 'Iron Man 3' Trading Cards Review

The folks at Upper Deck Trading Cards sent World Wide Blog Of Movies a box of the new Iron Man 3 Movie Cards to review. The question is do they rock as much as the movie does? Read on for the answer.

I think one of the best parts about this set is the fact even some of the same numbered cards are different from each other  As you can see in the picture above, both cards have the same picture on them and if you were to turn them over, they would say the same quote as well. What's the diff? On the second card you can see a line effect which looks almost like a tech pattern as you would see Tony use while designing.

Not only does this set let you bring home scenes from the movie, it could let you bring home pieces of it. Picture above are the two 'Heroic Threads' cards that came in the box set. These two cards include pieces of costumes worn by Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts), Don Cheadle (Colonel James Rhodes) and Jon Favreau (Happy Hogan). The best part about these cards is the fact you can tell which scene they are from, so you can watch the film and go 'Hey! I have a piece of that moment!'.

While opening the packs of cards from this box set, I found one more collectible card (Seen above). This is the cover of the July 1992, issue #282 of IRON MAN Vol #1. This was the issue we first met the War Machine armor. What else is special about this card? It is signed by the Writer and Penciler of the issue, Len Kaminski and Kevin Hopgood. This is one of many Celebrity Autographs you could find in a single pack of Upper Deck Iron Man 3 Trading Cards.

You know how I put the question at the top of this  review? 'Do they rock as much as the movie does?'. Well, the meaning behind that question is do they bring out the spirit for Iron Man fans? Do they tell a story with each picture? Also are they as cool as seeing the scenes clear on the big screen? Yes!! 5 stars to the print team on these cards for making them look High-Def!

If you ask me, which if you are reading this you did! I would tell you to go find these at your local trading card stores and pick up a pack today! Don't forget there is still time to go see Iron Man 3 in theaters!

Iron Man 3 Review

The Armored Avenger flies back into action in the 3rd edition of Iron Man and the 7th film in the 'Avengers' series. This could be the best action movie of the year, as well as one of the best comic book movies ever.

Shane Black had a hard job making a movie to follow the 2012 mega hit 'The Avengers'. Well, I can now say without a doubt it was a job well done. Anyone know what the film Shane Black directed was?. It was 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang', staring the man himself Robert Downey Jr. I think that is a big part of what made this film work with a new Director.

Speaking of Mr. Downey Jr. there is really no Iron Man story he can't take on. This is his best take on Tony Stark yet. He brings the laughs and the serious side of Tony to life and pulls you into the film. Now he didn't do it alone! Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Pepper Potts and Don Cheadle flies back in as Colonel James Rhodes. Also returning is Iron Man and Iron Man 2 Director/actor Jon Favreau as Happy Hogan, I wonder how it was to act while someone else directed the series you help start. No one can forget the voice we all know, Paul Bettany as Jarvis.

New to the film are Rebecca Hall as Maya Hansen, Sir Ben Kingsely as The Mandarin and Guy Pearce as Aldrich Killian. Big time shout out to the youngest main cast new comer Ty Simpkins aka Harley Keener. Over all this cast is one of the best I've ever seen.

I always love how Robert and Gwyneth always bring the best out of each other in these films, their relationship truly comes to life in this film. The comedy stays true between Don and Robert as well, you can't help but laugh. The same is true with the pair of Gwyneth and Jon in this film. I think the one to watch out for is Ty Simpkins, I hope we will see more of him in upcoming Avengers projects. He really works well along side Robert and can really hold his own.

The special effects and the 3D are marvelous (yes I just used a word with 'Marvel' in it for this review). I don't want to tell you too much about the new suits in the film, but the special effects with the suit alone are EPIC. The filming locations make it very easy to believe in this film.

This is the best Iron Man film and well worth seeing over and over again! A great way to lead us into Phase Two of 'The Avengers'.

Iron Man 3 Funko Review

The Armored Avenger returns to the big screen on May 3rd in Iron Man 3. World Wide Blog Of Movies is getting ready for that day with the new Iron Man 3 products sent to us from Funko.

Let's start with the two Pop! Vinyl Bobble-Heads. The first one is based on the Mark 42 from the upcoming Iron Man 3. The fun part about these is that they aren't only for adult collectors, they can be fun for the kids as well. Some of the best detail work I've seen in a while on both this figure and the War Machine figure.  One of my favorite over-all movie details on these two products is on the box itself. If you look at the left side panel of the box, you will see a large cartoon-like picture of the figure but behind it is the biggest detail. You can see the new movie edition of Tony's Hall of Armor, so it even gives you sneak preview of the upcoming film.

One of the Pop! figures in this series is Iron Man's Deep Space Suit, which hints towards Tony's travels to space in Iron Man 3... Could we be meeting more heroes?

Now we move on to the Iron Man 3: Mark 42 Wacky Wobbler. Right off the bat, I notice the detail of the Iron Man helmet. The other well done detail is his over all suit, including the simple white Arc Reactor that stands out from the suit to make it seem like is a light.  As a collector, I like the fact there is space by his feet on the base. Why? Because if you find yourself able to make it to a Marvel event, that gives you a great item to get signed.

Iron Man: Avengers from Fathead. Review!

Big fan of the Avengers? Well, you can now bring home the Armored Avenger! Iron Man is here thanks to the great company called "Fathead".

Now this is my second review with Fathead and I am glad to point out one fact that is the same in both. That fact is the box got here in perfect shape and the product was very well packed. Why do I point this out twice? Because I think a major part of a good business when it comes to online ordering, is to make sure the product gets to its owner in perfect shape. So two thumbs up to Fathead for a fantastic packing job.

Now on to the product itself, we will start with the main Fathead of Iron Man in his Mark VII suit. This is truly life size and lives up to the Fathead detail.  One of my favorite parts is how the Arc Reactor even has a glow to it. I like how there is a lighting effect on the metal to make it look even more like he is standing right there. The image is so smooth and detailed, which makes this product even more fantastic.

Now along with the main Fathead, there are bonus logos and even a special smaller Fathead of the Armored Avenger himself. First we have the pretty much Fathead Junior of Iron Man again in his Mark VII, this time he is in flight. This has the same level of detail as the main Fathead. Now while promoting the movie, Marvel gave each Avenger their own "A" logo design. Which is why one of the two "A" logos with this Fathead has the Arc Reactor in it to symbol Iron Man. I am a big fan of how Fathead includes the stand alone logos as part of their products. The second "A" is one of my favorites as it is the black "A" with a kind of gold/orange background. The other two movie themed items with this are the "Armored Avenger" logo and the main movie title logo. The "Armored Avengers" even has a city on the inside of the letters of "Avenger". There is even a Fathead of the Fathead logo, the cool part about this is that it is colored to fit right in with the Iron Man theme.

So again I give Fathead 5 stars for another amazing product. If you are looking for some of the greatest movie collectibles, make sure you check out Fathead!

Upper Deck The Avengers Movie Trading Cards Review

Seen the Avengers? Fan of the Comics? Bring home the heroes and the villains from all the Avengers movies with the Upper Deck Marvel's The Avengers Assemble Trading Cards.

Each of the main cards shows a scene from one of the movies. There are about 20 cards from each of the lead up movies and over 50 from the Avengers movie. On the back of each card there are details of the scene on the front. These tell you who is in the picture and which part of the movie it is.

There are special edition cards as well, including Autograph cards, Artist Sketch cards, Memorabilia cards and Printing Plate cards. In the packs of cards that Upper Deck sent me for this review, I found an Artist Sketch card of Iron Fist. It is the real deal, you can feel the ink and color from the pens used by the Artist (Do not touch the card a lot because of not wanting to wear it down). I saw the red ink on the back from it bleeding into the paper when they drew it.

The second special edition card I got was one of the Printer Plates, this was of Thor. They used this plate while printing the cards for the set. I was happy to find out that I also got the card in another pack which was made with this plate. Make sure you keep this card in a book or case to make sure it doesn't bend. On the back there is a sticker saying what the card is. For the other special cards it is printed on the back.

The last special edition card that I got was one of the Memorabilia cards, which including part of the costumes used in the movie. This card had two pieces of costume, one was from Hawkeye's suit and the other from Thor's suit. So not only can you bring home a piece of Upper Deck history and official Marvel artist work. You can bring home a part of the movies. There are multi cards in each set of special edition cards.

One of the other cards included in this set is the comic book cover cards. These cards picture comic book covers from the early years of the Avengers to the current day covers, it is a cool way to collect the art from the books.

Over all I give this series of cards 5 stars!!

The box got here in perfect shape and the product was very well packed into the box with no risk of getting messed up. It came with small yellow tool that you can use to smooth it out when you pull it on the wall, very handy. It also comes with bonus mini Fathead Avenger items, including logos and two posters.

The mural is smooth and is a nice big clear picture of the heroes, as well as the mini items. The detail makes it feel like you are standing right next to them, Iron Man is even flying right off the wall. One of the smaller Fatheads is of the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo, you can post that right on your room door and make it feel like you are walking into HQ with Nick Fury. Don't forget to label your dresser with the "The Avengers Initiative" and make it seem like you are getting ready to set the mission to start.

This product gets 5 out of 5 stars for being 100% awesome and a great product for any Avengers fan.

You Can Now Have The Scent Of The Avengers!

I reviewed the new movie "The Avengers", which was FANTASTIC! Now I am such a huge fan of the heroes of the story as well as the villain, so I went looking for how to be like them. Now I am not going to go try and save the world, because I am not a super power hero or a big green body of anger or even a guy in a armor suit. That is why I am working on the series of reviews of the new JADS International, LLC. products based on the movie "The Avengers".

Now I am going to review the Avengers Four Pack from JADS International. The box is a great show of the theme, with the logo on the front and top with logos for all four heroes on the side. When you open the box there are four bottles, full size bottles. After testing the Loki product, I knew just which one of the four to start with.

I had to try out the scent of the God of Thunder, (Not sure you would want to use both at once, you know how well the two brothers get along.. haha). The scent of Thor is called "Worthy", which is a fun name because it plays off the story of who is worthy to hold the hammer of Thor. The scent really fits the theme well, the logo is lightning (I like the logo, I would like to have seen the hammer somewhere on the bottle). The scent lasts just over 9 hours.

Over all this product gets 4 1/2 out of 5 stars (the only issue is the no sign of a hammer on the bottle)

"I am Iron Man" that is what you will be saying as you wear the scent of Tony Stark which is called "Mark VII", this is one of the best out of this set. I worried when putting on a scent named after one of the suits (who would want to have the scent of metal on them??), but I was very happy as I first used this product. The bottle shows off the logo of the suit with the look of the Arc Reactor in the middle, it is prefect for the theme. Now this doesn't give you a suit of armor or the money of Tony Stark, but it does give you the chance to act like the man himself. It lasts for almost 10 hours and really has a good strong scent the whole time.

This product gets 5 out of 5 stars.

Now it's time to "Smash"! or should I say wear "Smash" which is the name of the new product based on the big green guy himself, the HULK. So the effects of this product most likely won't turn you big and green, but it will give the feeling that you will "Smash" into the world of a good time with the strong scent of this product. This products lasts for 10 hours (that was just the time I sat waiting to see if I turned big and green... Just kidding), the scent really stays strong durning the time of wearing it. The bottle works with the name, the logo is the effect of the "Smash" and is green. I believe over all this product really fits the idea of the Hulk well.

This product gets 5 out of 5 stars.

Now the final test, this is the test of "Patriot" the scent of Captain America. This scent really does make you feel like the "Star Spangled Man with a plan" (Red, White and Blue Shield not included). Now the scent is great for the theme and the bottle shows off one of the test designs for the shield which is great, I really like this product. It makes you feel like Steve Rogers as he stands for what is right, (Maybe the next product will make you have the scent of him right before Shield finds him.... ICE!). The name really gives the true meaning of Captain America.

The Avengers Review

What do you get when you put together a all star cast, a epic comic book series as the base of the story, and a great crew? You get the year's best movie. You get THE AVENGERS!

From the 2008 movie Iron Man, all the way to Captain America: The First Avenger in 2011, there as always been a hint of The Avengers. Every movie has been building up to this, building up to what could be the best comic book movie ever. This was a action packed movie from the very start.

"Let's do a head count". -Tony Stark (The Avengers)

1. Captain America, played by Chris Evens. When we first met Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, he was working along side Howard Stark and trying to defeat Red Skull. Years later he is back from his frozen fate to fight along side the son of Howard Stark, Tony! This won't be as easy as just waking up and starting a new day for Cap. Now for the second time Chris Evens, brought this red, white and blue hero to life. I was a big fan of Fantastic Four and my favorite was Human Torch played by Evens, but I have to say I like him better as the Captain.

2. Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth. The son of Odin, first came to earth after being banned from his home planet by his father. Just as he did in the last movie, Thor has to stop his brother Loki. This time, Thor, has help from the rest of the Avengers. Same as Chris Evens, this is Chris Hemsworth's second time playing the God of Thunder. He is by far the best choice to weld the Hammer of Thor.

3. Iron Man, played by Robert Downey Jr. In 2008 we saw when Tony Stark first put his Arc Reactor to the test while trying to rid the world of the weapons he built, but the Arc isn't only for powering weapons it keeps him alive as well. Robert Downey Jr. is funny and fast talking in real life, bring it into this role and he makes the best Tony Stark. Here is a fun Avengers fact: Robert Downey Jr. was the first person ever to play Iron Man in live action. This is not true with these three Avengers, Hulk, Captain America, and Thor. Another fun fact: The first time Thor was played in live action was along side Hulk in the Bill Bixby series.

4. Hawkeye, played by Jeremy Renner. We only met Hawkeye for a short time in Thor, so it is really hard to talk about his story without saying too much about The Avengers story. I can talk about the man behind the bow and arrow, Jeremy Renner. It takes a lot of hard work to bring a full movie role to life with very little background from the past movies, Renner did that hard work and was perfect.

5. Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson. We first met Natasha Romanoff in the 2010 film "Iron Man 2", where she was on a mission from Nick Fury to keep an eye on Tony Stark to learn more about him and if he would be a good fit on the Avengers team. Scarlett Johansson and Jeremy Renner played well off eachother in the new film and their story really brings in the rest of the background infomation on them you didn't know.

6. The Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. We first met Bruce Banner in the second Avengers movie "The Incredible Hulk" in 2008. Now in that movie Bruce was played by Edward Norton, so unlike the others in the movie this was Mark's first time as this Avenger. I am a huge fan of Mark's role as Bruce aka The Hulk, he is my favorite person in that role.

Now before them became the Avengers, someone had to lead a team to find them all. Let's meet that team.

After the credits of the first Iron Man, we met the man they call Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson. He didn't work alone, the very first SHIELD person that we met was Agent Phil Coulson, played by Clark Gregg. These two were fantastic and worked well off eachother in The Avengers. Joining the team in The Avengers is Maria Hill, played by Cobie Smulders, this was her first Marvel role.

"A hero without a villain is like a day without sun" -Stan Lee, this is very true. In 2011 we first met Thor's brother Loki, played by Tom Hiddleson. Loki is a dark yet sometimes funny comic book villain which needed to be filled by the best choice, Tom was that choice. He made a return as the brother of Thor in new movie, he was the villain of the story.

We talked about the Director of SHIELD, now we need to talk to the Director of The Avengers movie. Joss Weldon's first Marvel director role was for the after credits scene on Thor. Joss was well known for directing Buffy the Vampire Slayer, no there weren't any Vampires in this film but he did bring along his great talent of directing.

The rest of the cast was EPIC!!! Great job by the whole cast and crew!

OVER ALL THIS MOVIE GETS 5 STARS!!!!!!!! If you haven't already, go see it!! If you have, go see it again!! I can not wait to see where the Avengers story goes from here.
